Lana Barhum is a freelance medical and health writer from Northeast Ohio. Lana holds a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies and has worked for over 16 years as a legal assistant. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time and trying to keep up with her two sons – ages 8 and 17, taking care of her cat, embarrassing her teenager, exploring nature and historical sites, and visiting her local Amish country.
